Ham Sandwich star Niamh Farrell has given birth to her first child.
The singer with the Co Meath outfit and her partner Derek Byrne welcomed baby Oscar into the world on Sunday morning.
He was born at The Coombe Women & Infants University Hospital in Dublin and weighted in at 5.2 lbs.
Ham Sandwich, who released their debut album ‘Carry The Meek’ earlier this year, are due to play a number of dates over the coming weeks, including a slot at the Glastonbury Festival in two weeks’ time.
It is not yet clear if Farrell will make an appearance at the festival.
